Building data products for Integrity’s project with the UK government’s CSSF (Conflict, Stability and Security Fund), a cross-HMG fund focused on preventing instability and conflicts that threaten UK strategic interests. Responsibilities include:

  • Building statistical models
  • Analysing & visualizing OSINT data
  • Building capacity within Integrity for further development of data analytics
  • Synthesizing and explaining complex topics in statistics & machine learning to HMG stakeholders in writing and presentations

Automated large part of the QA of survey data commissioned by the World Bank as part of their third-party monitoring of the impact of the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Funds’ (ARTF) projects. Further developed auto-QA on surveys of the country’s economy after 15th August 2021. Responsibilities include:

  • Automating ETL and QA of complex survey data
  • Further refining and developing data pipeline to be adaptable to multiple client projects

  • Mentored a cohort of data analyst apprentices in learning and using data science concepts and techniques to solve problems in their day to day work.
  • Guided learners towards writing convincing project narratives that communicate the value of their projects to internal stakeholders.
  • Participated in educator hackathons, producing analytical insights based on internal company data and presenting to wider company and senior leadership in a 7-hour timeframe.

  • Acted as departmental Physics expert, providing colleagues with support and guidance on implementing the recently changed curriculum.
  • Designed, delivered and evaluated research and evidence-informed interventions in my classrooms.
  • Took ownership of certain parts of the curriculum: delivered a session to the rest of the Science department introducing the National Curriculum’s updated unit on Energy and ways to effectively teach it.
